Paul and his team went above and beyond with their duties making us feel that saying goodbye to our loved one was their final act of respect on our behalf. Always looked after by Paul and his team and cannot thank them enough for all that they have done.

This is the second funeral Ballard and Shortall have undertaken for us. It would never occur to me to go elsewhere. They are totally compassionate and professional everything performed with dignity and empathy. So friendly, nothing was too much trouble, every detail was carefully considered and double checked . The service we received from everyone in the East Grinstead team, from the advisers to the pallbearers, was exceptional. They are exactly the kind of people you need beside you when you are grieving a loss: kind, supportive, compassionate, and, when appropriate, gently humorous which meant we felt that laughter at such a sad time wasn't out of place. Ballard & Shortall provided excellent service. Were thoughtful, professional and friendly. The service went over and above, particularly from Bobby. We used B&S for both our parents funerals and they were excellent and caring in both sets of circumstances. Highly recommended.

I have made no better decision in my 77 years than to choose Ballard & Shortall to arrange and manage Kay's funeral. I wanted the best for her and was given it.
