We are so grateful to have found Garner’s for my mother’s funeral service. Vicki was so professional, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and she did everything with such with empathy and warmth. We felt really safe in her hands. David was also great during the service. We can’t thank you enough and would recommend you with 10 stars.

What can I say. Vicki, Howard, David and the whole team at Garners were just superb!!My darling mother passed away in March after a long and difficult fight with cancer and Alzheimer's. The whole experience was traumatic but the empathy, care, and professionalism shown by all at Garners was second to none.I work in the funeral industry, so I know what goes into making a beautiful service and I simply wouldn't have chosen anyone else for my Mum. She died in the early hours of the morning but Howard and David still came to collect her smartly groomed and dressed, and took such care to make sure she was treated with dignity and respect. Mary their embalmer did an amazing job, looked after her and made her look like herself again, which was a great comfort to me. Vicki and the team allowed me and my family to spend as much time with her as we wished , always careful to make sure we felt at ease and they were so accommodating and kind.I asked for lots of little extra touches to make the day special, including a piper and my wish to make a short detour through Richmond park for her last journey, as she loved to do in life. Every request was met with an "of course , we can make that happen" response.At no point did I ever feel pressured into having things we didn't need or want, Vicki talked me through all the choices available and I could take everything at my own pace. Contrary to what the media would have you believe these days, their costs were not overly expensive either, just good old fashioned value for money and in my opinion, worth every penny for the level of service they delivered. At every turn the whole team were there, supporting us, and making sure everything was perfect down to the smallest detail.My two sons helped bear their beloved Nanny into the chapel and both Howard and David were right there by their side to support them and put them at their ease, as they could see my lads struggling. Afterwards they told me how that had given them the strength to do it. Another kindness above and beyond! They gave my Mum back the dignity that her illness had robbed from her and so many people commented on how beautifully the service was carried out.It was like they had lost one of their own and I can't thank them enough.You can really tell that this is a family business, run with compassion and pride in the job they do. They are just magnificent!! I couldn't recommend them more highly.Jeni Bern
