Steph, we cannot thank you enough for all your care and attention with dad. Nothing was too much trouble, your guidance throughout was amazing and reassuring. Friday was perfect, dad would have bloody loved it! Youve been so good with mum, as shes found this all so very hard. Can you thank Billy & his team, who were compassionate, respectful, kind and patient. And Billy for walking in the rain & getting soaked a million times. Yam was very welcoming, polite and very patient. She listened to me attentively, she reassured me and answered all my questions and then organised the funeral service for my deceased mum. At my request she made arrangements for a catholic priest to conduct the funeral service for my mum. The Catholic priest Father D conducted the service and the scattering of my mother's ashes beautifully and with great respect. A big thanks to you and Father D

I can’t thank Gillman Funeral Service enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed during such a difficult time. From the very first call, I felt completely supported. My nan didn’t have a funeral plan, so I was quite overwhelmed with everything, but the team guided me every step of the way and made sure every detail was perfect. Both Steph and Suzie were incredibly supportive. Steph was so relatable and attentive – she really listened and made me feel heard. And Suzie's Cuppa? It felt like a warm hug – such a thoughtful touch. I truly felt cared for by both of them. One of the most touching things was how they honoured my nan’s favourite colour — green. The staff wore green ties, the horses were beautifully dressed with green feathers and drapes, and the carriage looked stunning. It was more than I could have hoped for and showed just how much they care about getting everything right, down to the smallest detail. Thanks to Gillman, I was able to give my nan the most precious send-off. It was respectful, beautiful, and filled with personal touches that meant so much. I’ll always be grateful.

We lost our mother on 31.7.2025. I had pre booked a funeral with Gilmans, as Mum was a resident in a care home. The help advice we received was amazing d from. All the staff was amazing. On the day of the funeral the traffic was awful, Sharon got out of the hearse and cleared the traffic to allow is to pass. Sharon I believe her name was, was amazing. The whole of the staff at Gilmans was great. They recommended a celebrant Tracey Gascoigne who was kind,offered advice was brilliant We as a family could not have been happier with professionalism of all concerned, who helped us during g an emotional time.
