S.E.Skinner were appointed funeral directors by my mothers funeral plan. Throughout the whole process Shaun, April and Maria showed respect and kindness and were very helpful in changing our requirements and providing all the necessary information through to completion. I would recommend the services provided by S.E.Skinner.

The team at Skinners have been wonderful with my late Mother-in-law's funeral. We also used Skinners for my late father-in-law in 2023. Shaun, April and Maria gently guided us from the start of the funeral process to collecting my mother-in-law's ashes. They showed nothing but respect, understanding and compassion for our situation. Nothing was too much for them in supporting us. I am forever grateful for their support and they are part of our story. Thank you Shaun and his wonderful team.

My brother’s partner had been connected with Skinners from a previous family funeral so she felt it was a good place to start. From our initial conversations through planning and the final ceremony Shawn, Aaron and April were patient, sensitive and efficient. Aaron was our main point of contact and he was excellent. He always answered the phone and replied to emails in minutes and was patient with my concerns and confident to answer questions. All the staff also have a positivity and a sense of humour which was definitely helpful as sometimes in amongst the sadness the experience can get seem so surreal that it is almost comical. We felt that our brother was cared for and in good hands when his body was taken into their funeral home. Aaron explained all the varied stages really well along the way. The planning meeting was good and there were quite a lot of us involved but we all felt listened to. The order or service looked fantastic and April and Aaron were understanding with all our amendments. The music library is extensive and the photo montage to music was absolutely perfect. I was particularly nervous about the details of the ceremony- the timings, where we should wait, stand, enter exit the chapel etc . Skinners were absolutely brilliant at addressing my worries leading up to the day explaining the order of events and then on the day of the funeral it was beautifully directed. They confidently took charge of guiding us all in where to be. The staff were dressed beautifully and the whole ceremony ran smoothly and professional from start to finish. There was a huge crowd and the staff were graceful and welcoming but managed the crowd with firm and clear instructions. Our pall bearers were understandably nervous (two were very young )the Skinners staff were amazingly supportive and clear in guidance at the difficult moment of transferring the coffin. Shawn kindly considered our religious background and added Catholic elements to the burial. Generally we felt well looked after throughout this very difficult time. I look back a week later now and think of it as very special day and know that Aaron April and Shawn used their professional experience to ensure we have these precious memories. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

An amazing company. From start to finish they were professional and understanding in my moment of grief. Nothing was left, every detail covered and in constant contact with myself and brother to make sure everything went as my mother had wished. Grief and emotion is tough when you have just lost someone very close to you. S E Skinners made the process as painless as it could possibly be A professional and understanding company right when you need it

The service I received for the funeral of my late mother by Shaun, April & Aaron was spectacular. They were kind, caring and experienced. Shaun has the perfect mannerisms & commitment needed to help make planning the funeral as trouble-free as possible. I found talking to Shaun very relaxing, he was meticulous in his wanting to understand exactly what I wanted from the funeral. I will always appreciate the exceptional send-off for my mother that all at SE Skinner & sons provided. They truly made the funeral memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you S.E. Skinner & Sons
