From our first meeting, Grace Mabey from Tapper Funeral Service treated my wife’s cremation with dignity, compassion, and genuine respect. Every detail was handled with care, and I always felt supported and listened to. At an unimaginably painful time, her guidance and kindness made all the difference. I cannot thank Tapper enough and would highly recommend them to be there to care for your loved ones.

We lost both of our parents within an 8 week period in 2025. We had never had to deal with death in our family before and found the whole thing quite daunting, especially at a terribly sad time. However, from the moment we walked through the door at Tapper in Broadstone, we were treated wonderfully and Jonathan Seymour (Jonnie) and his lovely team did an exceptionally professional job in making all the arrangements for the funerals and ensuring that everything ran perfectly on the day. We used their Harbourview facility in Beacon Hill which was absolutely beautiful and very fitting - both for the service but also for the wake immediately afterwards. I can't commend Jonnie and the team enough for their sheer professionalism, sensitivity and delivery. Everyone said that the funerals were wonderful 'send offs'. Whilst we certainly had to make a bunch of decisions about the funerals - some of which weren't easy - once made, the work that Tapper did ensured that we felt relieved of a burden rather than weighed down by it. They did an outstanding job.

I can't thank Jonnie and his team enough for handling all the arrangements for my father's funeral recently with such care and compassion; making a very difficult time so much easier. Jonnie in particular was incredibly accommodating to our requests; nothing was too much trouble, and he made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We are also very grateful that he recommended Neil McCain as the celebrant to conduct Dad's service. He was absolutely outstanding; a truly lovely chap who delivered a wonderful service. So much so that everyone who attended commented on how beautifully it was delivered and that it felt so much more like a memorial than a funeral. It really was a celebration of Dad's life. Harbour View is also a beautiful venue and is leagues above the BCP crematoriums. The fact you can also have the wake/reception straight after in the same place is so convenient and in such wonderful surroundings and all meticulously organised. Everyone involved showed genuine empathy, and their support was invaluable. We are so grateful for their exceptional service and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jonnie,Yvonne and the staff at Tappers in Broadstone are amazing. So professional, yet approachable and made what was a very difficult time a lot easier. The funeral day went so smoothly and as a family this gave us such comfort. We can’t thank them enough.
