Graham and Lucy provided a very kind, efficient and professional service; Graham made the initial process very easy and straightforward, recommended an excellent celebrant and florist and conducted the day of the funeral with great care and sensitivity. Loosing a family member is one of the hardest things you will ever go through in life. It is a time where you are unable to see past the pain. However having such an amazing funeral directors looking after you and organising the funeral relieves so much stress which isn’t needed at the time. Lucy Roberts who works at A.H Cheater LtD made sure that every day before the funeral we where kept updated, she treated us in such a lovely manner making sure any questions we had where asked and any concerns where dealt with. Sitting us down, talking through the funeral plans, to finding us a florist and making sure that the funeral was the most beautiful day for my Nan. I want to thank Lucy, Graham and the team. Me and the family are truly thankful to you all and it means the world to us how you treated us and how the funeral went.

I can't recommend the North Baddesley branch enough. They have been so attentive to our needs. My father was collected promptly and prepared so well for the chapel of rest - such a personal touch to what is a very hard and sad time. Nothing was too much trouble, every request was met - Graham and Lucy really know what they are doing which gave such reassurance on what was a very difficult day for us as a family. A H Cheaters at North Baddesley were wonderful. They handled everything with courtesy and in considerate way. I was guided through the whole process and they knew the Catholic Priest that the family wanted to undertake the service, as we knew him as a friend. I discussed Clare, my wife's life with them and also us as a family. And that we wished the cremation to be carried out on Clare's birthday. Graham and Lucy were both easy to deal with and kept us up to date as my wife's body was collected from Cornwall, nothing was too much trouble. They then arranged for a few close friends to visit to talk with Clare before the funeral. They also allowed myself and others to leave cards, letters and a single rose to be placed in the coffin with Clare. Due to Covid we were restricted to only 40 people in the chapel. Again Cheaters asked if there were any special groups that we wished the chairs to provide for. They also offered the photo streaming and podcast of the funeral for those no able to attend. This was very beneficial so that friends and family around the world could join us, or see things at a later date. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Our family has entrusted Cheaters North Baddesley with the arrangements of both our parents' funerals in the last 12 months. All communications with us were calm, courteous and considerate.
