Founded in 2013 by Andy and Vicky Free, the business has grown from a single location to serve families across Attleborough, Wymondham, and all surrounding areas. Andy holds the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing and has worked in the funeral profession for almost two decades, bringing a depth of experience and genuine compassion to every family he serves.
The business is truly a family affair, with Andy and Vicky's children Lewis and Jade actively involved in the day-to-day running of the company, alongside a small, dedicated team including Funeral Director Colin Sykes, Administrator Michael Butcher, and Funeral Operative Andrew Ball. Andy Free Independent Family Funeral Director offers a 24-hour service, liaising with clergy, Civil Celebrants, Ministers, Humanists, and other third parties on behalf of bereaved families. They provide a wide range of services including traditional funerals, simple attended services, personal ceremonies, and direct non-attended services, ensuring every family can say farewell in the way that is right for them.
