All the staff were incredibly professional and respectful but made us feel at ease and walked us through all the steps. Stephen Hopkins was so kind and helpful and a credit to the profession.

Karl was brilliant when we first came into the funeral home to discuss plans. He gave us all the information we needed and more! No request was a problem and everything was dealt with a calm and thoughtful manner. Communication was great throughout and it was always easy to get hold of someone/ get a quick response. Glenn was very quick to respond to emails and suggested ideas for a service sheet which was really helpful. The funeral itself ran very smoothly and was very professional from start to finish. Thank you for all of your help and for making the process and easy possible in the circumstances.

A huge thank you to everyone at Arthur Cambrey for their respect, care and compassion shown during our recent bereavement. As our family and extended family had previously used their services we knew what to expect. From the moment Ken was taken to the chapel of rest to the time his ashes were laid we couldn’t have asked for better. Stephen initially came to our home and guided us through the process with total professionalism, caring and friendliness for our family, plus light hearted humour which was very welcome. Stephen kept in constant touch with us throughout regarding the finer details of the funeral arrangements. Karl handled proceedings on the day of the funeral and was totally professional ensuring everything went perfectly from start to finish, the same as he did the day Ken’s ashes were laid to rest. Glenn looked after us very well in such tragic and sad circumstances. His calming influence on our first meeting was exactly what was needed and we feel Glenn did his absolute best to look after us. Efficient and professional taking us through the process with ease. As we weren’t local Glenn and the team worked hard to allow us to view our brother at short notice which was greatly appreciated. Carl, Steve, Lisa and Glenn were absolutely fantastic and so friendly; we felt like we had known them for years. They took great care of our son throughout and treated him with the utmost dignity, from collecting him from our home after he died, to making him look so smart in his suit and so peaceful in the chapel of rest. From the very first moment we met them, we were treated with genuine empathy, kindness and respect, and they provided us with so much support during the most devastating time of our lives. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their compassion helped us navigate an unbearable situation with reassurance and care. We will be forever grateful for the dignity, sensitivity and humanity they showed our son and our family.
