Blyth and Sons Ltd, located at 4 Cremer Street in Sheringham, Norfolk, is an independent family-run funeral home with roots stretching back to 1895. Originally founded as a building firm by the Blyth family, the funeral division was established in the 1940s, and the business has been passed down through four generations of the Blyth family. Today it is run by Mark Blyth and Nichola Rosser, continuing a proud family tradition of serving the local North Norfolk community.
The Sheringham branch is overseen by Funeral Director Hayley Pegg, who was born in West Runton and has been part of the local community all her life. Hayley holds the NAFD Diploma in Funeral Directing and has been with the company for over a decade, ensuring families receive compassionate, expert guidance through every step of the funeral arranging process.
As a full member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Blyth and Sons Ltd adheres to the highest professional standards and code of conduct. The team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and every funeral is personally tailored to meet the wishes of the family and their loved one, with the greatest care and respect.
"The lady Helen came to see my family to help and she was amazing. I have been to see my grandad and he just looks amazing as he ever did — so thank you."
— Abi Middleton (about Helen)
"Losing a loved one is the toughest time of your life and they have been there helping us with everything. They are both professional and personal at the same time, which is something we will never be able to thank them for."
— Stefan Battrick-Newall
"As a family we decided we didn't want a hearse or a traditional ceremony, just our mother's favourite piece of music playing as we carried her to the grave. Blyth and Son, and especially Helen, couldn't have been more helpful, guiding us through this very emotionally charged process. They deserve a 5 star Plus rating!"
— Donna Billing (about Helen)

I cannot recommend Blyth and Son highly enough. The staff were amazing when we said we wanted a green burial for our mother. Helen put us in touch with a lovely lady Yuli Somme from Bellacouche who make wool felt burial shrouds. As a family we decided we didn't want a hearse or a tradition ceremony, just our mother's favourite piece of music playing as we carried her to the grave. Blyth and son and especially Helen couldn't have been more helpful, guiding us through this very emotionally charged process. They deserve a 5 star Plus rating!
