Founded in 1955 by Brook Smith as a joiners and funeral directors, the business has grown into one of the most modern and well-equipped funeral services in the region. The current premises, including a mortuary and chapel of rest, were added in 2001.
Today the business is run by Howard and Susan, Brook's son and daughter-in-law, and has recently welcomed their daughter Rebecca into the team. Susan, originally a qualified nurse, is the lead funeral director, while Howard oversees the in-house monumental side of the business. Rebecca, also a registered nurse, now works alongside her mother as a funeral director.

Their sole aim is to ensure every family feels they have been able to adequately celebrate the life of their loved one with care, dignity, and personal attention to detail.
