The company was established in 2014 by founder Carl Boswell, who began his career in the funeral profession in 2004 at the age of just 14, gaining extensive experience across Oxford and Kidlington before opening his own independent business to continue the traditions of independent funeral care in the region.
The Bicester branch, located at 58 Bucknell Road, offers a truly personal, non-delegated service with genuine care and professionalism at its core. The team provides a 24-hour service, 365 days a year, and can arrange funerals in the privacy of clients' own homes or at their tastefully appointed funeral home, which features a private Chapel of Rest and free client parking.
C.S. Boswell prides itself on tailoring each funeral service exactly to the family's wishes, from traditional funerals to bespoke or green services. Additional offerings include pre-arranged funeral plans, memorial consultancy, repatriation services, dove release, and alternative funeral vehicles on request.
