Thank you to Cooper & Son who helped myself and my mum plan my father's funeral. From Paula's patience, understanding and thoughtfulness going through the initial stages of the funeral to the gentlemen (Damian & Co) who looked after Dad at the Church and crematorium.

What usually happens after arranging a funeral

Most families arrange the funeral first. Dealing with the estate often comes next — something many people don't realise at the time.

There's nothing you need to do right now. A quick check can help you understand what to expect later.

Often comes up when:

  • Banks ask for paperwork
  • Property is involved
  • Uncertainty about a will
