Doves Funeral Directors was founded by second-generation Funeral Director Sean Costello in the 1980βs, with the first premises in Bromley.
Doves Funeral Directors quickly established a local reputation for empathy and experience in supporting the community in planning funerals for loved ones and soon expanded the business across Kent.

Hi, it is rare that I am compelled to write a review but the service that we as a family have received over the past 3 years from the team at Doves Funeral Directors in Bromley following the loss of 3 loved ones in as many years, is nothing short of excellent. Very recently ( 3rd funeral yesterday) Rose couldnβt have been more helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable in talking us through a very distressing time. Her eye for detail, prompt responses to emails and immediate responses on the phone proved to take away so much of the stress of arranging a funeral. Thank you Rose. Before I go I must also draw attention to Donna who along with her gentlemen colleagues also played a key role in the entire funeral service. Her warmth and compassion not only made a huge difference to all who attended but as a bonus her approach to us all manages our spirits on the most distressing of days . Heartfelt thanks (and funny as it may sound) hopefully I wonβt see you guys again for a long time ππ

Doves in Bromley arranged the funeral for my mother. Rachel was efficient , friendly and patiently answered my numerous questions. The family also appreciated being able to view mum whose home is not in Bromley. Rachel worked with her colleague at Steven Mears in Lewisham to facilitate this.On the day of the funeral Nick and his team were friendly, patient and tactful in dealing with the long funeral, taking family members to the cemetery and then onto the celebration venue. It was a really hot day but the team remained friendly helpful and professional.Thank you all from the family

Rachel at the Doves Bromley branch has been fantastic in leading the family through the whole process and ensuring that our Dad's funeral went exactly as we wanted and had planned for.Our family has used Doves for generations, and we've never been dis-appointed in the service we've received. They are a credit to their profession.

As a family our experience of Doves and the service they provided for the funeral of our sister was outstanding. From the first meeting with Rachel speaking with Lorraine, the choice of celebrant and then on the actual day with Nick and his team everyone was professional, kind and compassionate. Thank you Doves we couldn't have asked for more for Mandy

Doves handled my late mother's funeral exactly how my family wanted. The staff, both in the office and on the day, were friendly, helpful, supportive and totally professional. We never felt rushed and they always had time to answer questions and put our minds at rest. They treated my mother with the utmost respect. I would certainly recommend Doves
