Drakes of Torbay Funeral Service

Drakes offers a highly professional service. I have dealt with them as a health professional in the past and as someone requiring their services. They have the right balance of professionalism, compassion and good humour. The funeral went as smoothly as possible and we were kept informed throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

It’s was my fathers funeral during Covid-19. I feel they went above and beyond in the support and funeral service. Would highly recommend.

I would like to publicly commend Drakes of Torbay for their calm professionalism, their understanding at a difficult and emotional time for Sarah’s family and friends, and their quiet dignity in attending to all aspects of the funeral. All of our requests were complied with without any issues. With everything made much more difficult due to the ongoing global health crisis, they eased the way forward for us to give our beloved Sarah a fitting final tribute.

Never had to arrange a funeral before but went to Drakes as they had been recommended. From start to finish I was given advice, guidance and support. I practically had to phone nearly every day as I hadn't a clue of the process, felt very sorry for Stuart as was dealing with my Dad's funeral. Anyway we got there in the end and I have to say the whole service was carried out with great respect and dignity, because of this horrendous virus the usual procedures were different but with clear instructions from Stuart and the rest of the staff all went well without a hitch. So a massive Thank You to everyone involved to include Chas who conducted the service.

As a family, we couldn't rate Drakes of Torbay enough. We felt so supported in a very difficult time. Stuart very quickly took all our worries away and provided an excellent service throughout the whole process, from start to finish. We felt comforted in the way he talked us through a very new and unknown process. The Order of Services were beautifully done and to a very high standard and we were also provided with the opportunity to have a tribute page in honour of our wonderful Dad. Will certainly recommend to anyone in the same position.
