"Your guidance, attention to detail, and calm support made a challenging experience much easier for our family. We truly appreciated the respect and dignity with which everything was handled, as well as your willingness to listen and accommodate our wishes. Your work does not go unnoticed, and it made a meaningful difference to us."
— Marlyn Beaton
"The care and love showed by Francesca and the team was just perfect — she helped provide a truly fitting tribute and service for our beloved mum."
— Alison Poustie (about Francesca)
"Matthew was very professional yet caring — he made me feel so relaxed, comfortable and reassured. I was confident that my husband was in good hands. He gave me plenty of time to process all the information. I'm so grateful to Matthew and his team for their support right to the end."
— Ganny Kazzim (about Matthew)
"Francesca was a calming, respectful and very supportive presence throughout a very traumatic time. She came to the house when my husband died and the removal was carried out in the most respectful manner. I cannot speak too highly of our experience of Farthing and Francesca — the funeral itself was everything that we wanted it to be."
— Kathy Mayes (about Francesca)
"I would rate more stars if I could. I expected him to be taken and that was the end after reading about direct funerals, however I got to pick my husband's clothes, music for his cremation, even seeing him at the Chapel of rest twice. On the day of the funeral Taris phoned me to say everything went beautifully — honestly, from the bottom of my heart, you made it everything and more."
— Jaynephil Smith (about Taris)
"I will be forever grateful she was allocated to my family and i will always remember what she did for us as it made a difficult time so much more bearable. She read me perfectly every time we met, often with little notice from me, and met my needs without fail. Although she was patient and lovely i also felt that she had everything under control and i had utmost confidence that everything would be organised and arranged as we needed."

My experience with Farthings Funeral services was exceptional. Everyone i had contact with was respectful, helpful and polite and the environment at Ipswich was peaceful and lovely. Francesca, however, was truly amazing. She explained everything gently and patiently, ensuring I had all the information i needed without overwhelming me. I was comforted immediately that dad was in good hands. Dad died at home and the removal of dad’s body was done so carefully and respectfully. With Francesca nothing was too much trouble and she was always calm and reassuring. She read me perfectly every time we met, often with little notice from me, and met my needs without fail. Although she was patient and lovely i also felt that she had everything under control and i had utmost confidence that everything would be organised and arranged as we needed and supported me and mum completely. I was so grateful she was with us on the day of the funeral as it felt like she had my back and would lead me where i needed to be and she did. I will be forever grateful she was allocated to my family and i will always remember what she did for us as it made a difficult time so much more bearable.

Farthing funeral service was recommended to me by a close friend. We had Matthew as the funeral director he was very professional yet caring he made me feel so Relaxed, Comfortable and reassured. I was confident that my husband was in good hands. Matthew took his time to explain The funeral procedure in details. He gave me plenty of time to process all the information. I’m so grateful to Matthew and this team for their support right to the end. A very big thank you to Father’s funeral service and to Matthew and his team.

I made a preliminary phone call to Farthing as I had no experience of organising a funeral. I chose Farthing from the reviews and my call was answered by Francesca. She advised me of what I needed to do once their services were required. Francesca came to the house when my husband died and the removal was carried out in the most respectful manner. She advised my daughters and I in relation to the choice of casket and the numerous procedures necessary. She also arranged for us to meet the Celebrant, a lovely lady Jane Lord. Throughout a very traumatic time Francesca was a calming, respectful and very supportive presence. She has help to make the whole process much easier to bear. I cannot speak too highly of our experience of Farthing and Francesca, the funeral itself was everything that we wanted it to be.
