George Hill Funeral Directors was acquired in 2005 by Jonathan Alcock & Sons Ltd, a family owned and run Funeral Director since 1863. We have been serving bereaved families of Stockport, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Tameside for over 160 years. Our experienced and qualified team and first class facilities ensure those in our care are treated with dignity and honoured on their final journey.

Our family have used Georg Hill’s funeral services for many years now, and the most recent time was for my mum who sadly passed away on 13th June. This time we were dealt with by Jimmy Love. The service we received as a family from Jimmy was impeccable. Very professional. Very caring and faultless in his planning and organisation for my mum’s funeral. Jimmy and George Hills made a very difficult occasion that much better in helping to deal with it. Excellent service. Thank you Jimmy.
