"Gill and Beryl went the extra mile to make certain that the needs and requests of the family were met. The high standard and presentation of our beloved mother's funeral grabbed the attention of not only the attendees but also passersby who made signs of respect and stood still at roadsides as the procession passed by."
— Cecilyn Williams (about Beryl Roberts)

— Kalex Noonoo (about Beryl Roberts)
"Beryl could see when some days were more tender than others which showed in how she would tailor her delivery. There is not enough words to say or explain how she helped me through this time, I will be forevermore grateful for her kindness, reassurance, understanding and help."
— Rae Lou (about Beryl Roberts)
"Beryl's personalized attention left an unforgettable mark, as she appeared to care for our father as though he was part of her own family. Words cannot fully express our deep gratitude for the exceptional care, compassion, and dedication shown by the wonderful, heaven-sent lady, Sister Beryl Roberts, at Gillman Funeral Services at the Norbury branch. During one of the most difficult times of our lives, as we prepared to celebrate the life of our 15 year old son Matthew Elliston who went home to be with the Lord, Sister Beryl went above and beyond in every possible way. From the very beginning, she handled every intricate detail of the service with thoughtfulness, precision, and grace. What could have been an overwhelming and stressful process was transformed into a beautifully planned and executive celebration of life, allowing our family to focus on honouring our son’s memory and leaning on our faith. Sister Beryl’s compassion, professionalism, and heartfelt dedication shone through in everything she did. Her guidance and unwavering support relieved us of all stress and anxiety, and we felt truly cared for every step of the way. We are forever grateful for her kindness and for the way she helped us celebrate our son’s life with dignity, love, and peace. Thank you, Sister Beryl – you are truly a gift from God. From the Elliston Family.

I have to say, Beryl at the Norbury branch has been exceptional. I really didn't know what to do but with Beryl's guidance, support and knowledge, the whole process of laying my mother to rest was beautiful and trouble free. Beryl provided clarity around process, a number of options and most importantly, reassurance that mum's body would be respectfully looked after. So, a massive thank you to the company and Beryl, an absolute star. Deborah Clarke.

Gillman Norbury managed my sister’s funeral arrangements in September 2023. They took care of everything, including dealing with the crematorium where the service took place. I cannot recommend Gillman enough. They were faultless throughout. Beryl, who runs, the Norbury branch was amazing from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble – in fact, she went above and beyond at all times. Despite complications, she made sure she secured our preferred date for the funeral service at the crematorium. She was more than flexible when it came to friends and family visiting the chapel at rest at the Gillman office. And, most importantly, she took care of my family and my late sister, as she promised to from the start. It was a blessing that we found Beryl. The team that managed the day of the funeral could not have acted with more respect, sensitivity and class. I’m very grateful to them, Beryl and Gillman for everything they did to make the worst of times a positive experience for my family and for providing a fitting send-off for my sister.

From the 1st day of helping to arrange my grandmothers funeral, Beryl Roberts was phenomenal. She was professional, caring and so supportive. Her recommendations and the information she provided was a key part in why the day went well. In the lead up to the main day, Beryl could see when some days were more tender than others which showed in how she would tailor her delivery. There is not enough words to say or explain how she helped me through this time, I will be forevermore grateful, for her kindness, reassurance, understanding and help. Beryl honestly made this difficult time easier to manage. Thank you!
