Godalming Funeral Service was established in 2022 under the guidance of Senior Funeral Director Paul Weightman, who joined the Funeral Partners family and oversaw the restoration of a former funeral home in Godalming, Surrey. With over 40 years of experience in the funeral profession, Paul has helped thousands of families, serving clients and their loved ones with empathy, respect, and exemplary standards of care. In 2023, Paul's son Anghus Weightman — a respected funeral director in his own right — joined the team, bringing a strong family ethos to the business.
Located at Meadow Croft, Bridge Road, Godalming, the team is committed to creating tailored funerals that reflect the unique life of each individual. They offer a comprehensive range of services including cremations, burials, green and woodland funerals, unattended cremations, and repatriation. The team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by telephone, and can also arrange home visits for those who prefer to discuss funeral arrangements in familiar surroundings.
Godalming Funeral Service also offers the Choice prepaid funeral plan, allowing families to arrange and pay for a funeral in advance, protecting loved ones from rising costs and uncertainty. As part of Funeral Partners Limited, the branch combines local, personal care with the support and resources of one of the UK's leading funeral service providers.
