Paintin Ltd. is a genuinely family owned and family run independent funeral business, established in 1909 and proudly serving communities across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex for over 110 years. Their Haverhill branch, located at 60 Withersfield Road, is one of three premises operated by the family, offering a complete, compassionate and dignified service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Haverhill office, like all H. J. Paintin premises, features disabled access, discreet arranging rooms, a Chapel of Rest and private offices.
Today, the business is led by Rothgar Paintin, the Great-Grandson of the founder, alongside his wife Susan, daughters Sarah and Rachel, son Matthew, son-in-law Gavin, and grandson Joshua. Rothgar, Sarah and Rachel arrange and conduct funeral services, while Matthew, Gavin and Joshua oversee operational and support functions. The entire team is dedicated to helping families through one of the most difficult times of their lives with sensitivity, respect and the utmost dignity.
H. J. Paintin takes pride in offering completely bespoke funeral services tailored to each individual family. Their telephone lines are always personally answered by a team member, ensuring guidance and support is available whenever needed. With a rich heritage spanning more than a century, H. J. Paintin remains a trusted name in the local community.
