H W Mason and Sons Ltd is an independent, family-owned funeral directors based at Bridge House, 97 Victoria Road, Bletchley, Milton Keynes. The Bletchley branch is one of several premises operated by the Mason family, who have been serving the Milton Keynes area and surrounding communities for seven generations, with the business established around 1750. The company prides itself on combining modern facilities with traditional values, ensuring every family is treated with the utmost respect and care.
The Bletchley office, reachable on 01908 642700, forms part of a network of branches that together serve Milton Keynes, South Northants, North Bedfordshire and the surrounding towns and villages. All premises are fully owned by the Mason family, which helps keep funeral costs competitive. The branch offers individually tailored funeral arrangements catering for all denominations as well as non-religious services, and features private chapels of rest where families can spend undisturbed time with their loved ones.
A dedicated team member is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide help and advice. The company is committed to ensuring that every deceased person in their care rests in an individual coffin on their premises until the day of the funeral, with no use of central storage facilities. This commitment to dignity and personal service reflects the longstanding values that have defined H W Mason and Sons for over two and a half centuries.
"Upon collecting the body I was promised that they will treat the body 'with upmost respect' and throughout the process I most certainly felt that they did just that. They were incredibly compassionate, understanding and helpful during that horrific time in our lives."
— Maggie Scott
"Leanne was absolutely incredible from the first interaction in branch with the whole family, especially my Nan who had nothing but amazing words to say about her... knowing my Grandad was in the hands of incredible people made a very tough time within the family that tad easier."
— Kyle Wells (about Leanne)
"Amy's kindness and sensitivity with the whole family was perfect from start to end. No one wants to be in this position but the human touch and adapting to the family needs was exemplary."
— Lee Toon (about Amy)
"Adelaide completely put my mind at ease with regards to all arrangements. She was patient, understanding, extremely helpful and caring... you made an extremely tiring, emotional and stressful time - an un-stressed process... bordering on, an absolute pleasure."
— Mark Emsworth (about Adelaide)
"From coming out late the night she passed away to collect her, Billy and his team were calm, efficient, so very polite and reassuring. They treated her with dignity in circumstances which made it difficult to do so... On the day of the funeral they granted me the honour of being a pallbearer and I'll never forget that."
— Jake (about Billy & Amy)
"Leanne called and asked if she could look after us again... Dan looked after us on the day again and he made everything run so smoothly and the whole situation easier to bear. You are both a credit to Masons and I hope that you know just how much your compassion and empathy helps families get through a very difficult time."
— Nicola Yerrell (about Leanne & Dan)
