Harbour View is set in over 70 acres of peaceful Dorset countryside much of which overlooks Poole Harbour and Purbeck beyond. Harbour View offers a choice of ceremony halls, all with individual character and to suit small or large congregations. We pride ourselves on offering ample time for a funeral to take place at its own pace - never rushed. And, we have tea-rooms on site for the Wake.

Harbour View Crematorium sits in a peaceful location overlooking the Purbeck Hills and harbour. The care and support our family received from the team at Harbour View was coordinated by Jon Miles. Jon was professional, sensitive and respectful through out. We used the in-house florists who listened to our wishes and created a beautiful arrangement. All the staff were friendly and attentive including the car park stewards that greeted everyone on arrival to the catering staff that served a delicious cream tea after the service. Ellie Lomas, celebrant, conducted the service. Her level of efficiency alongside an empathetic and human manner was very much appreciated at a difficult time. Thank you.

From the first time I visited Long Barrow, Harbour View Crematorium I knew that this is where my dear wifes funeral should be. The surroundings were lovely, calm, and peaceful. Losing a loved one is never easy but the care and support we recieved from the moment we walked through the doors, the staff were compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to helping us honour Helen's life with dignity and respect. They handled every detail with professionalism and kindness, ensuring that the service reflected who she was. The atmosphere was peaceful and comforting and many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was arranged. We are deeply grateful to Laura Murray and Ellie Lomas, who conducted the service and guided us with such grace through one of the hardest moments in our lives. Their compassion will not be forgotten. Thank you for helping us say goodbye with love. Also a big thank you to the catering staff for supplying light refreshments in the Purbeck tea room - Gerry

Harbour View Crematorium is the most beautiful place, staff were so kind & caring, they gave my mother the most lovely service. The only thing we can fault, was the coffee they serve before the service! it was not very nice, it would be much nicer if there was a coffee machine, serving fresh hot coffee, maybe with a few biscuits....I'm sure ,after maybe a long journey, customers would be most grateful.

I really had no complaints but one. The arena was beautiful and peaceful. The actual funeral was well thought through. I wouldn't mind having my send-off there. The staff were all in position and doing their roles like magic. Thankfully my friend was well loved and there was no ground floor seating. We were pushed to the upper level of "the Barn". It's needs something. There is no view, no speakers, nothing. It would have been more respectful to push us into a closet. Full glass wall, bleachers, tiers. After driving 4 hours, it was a let down

We’re so incredibly grateful to Charlie and everyone at Harbour View Crematorium for the care and compassion they showed our family during such a difficult time. From the moment we arrived, we felt supported and gently guided through everything we needed to do and Charlie was simply wonderful throughout. He has a calm, reassuring way about him that immediately put us at ease. Nothing ever felt rushed or too much trouble. He took the time to get to know us and helped create a service that truly reflected our family. The service was warm, personal, and full of heart. Harbour View itself is such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The natural surroundings, the quiet, and the view all made it feel like the perfect place to say goodbye. It gave us space to breathe, reflect, and celebrate a life well lived. Thank you, Charlie, for everything. You helped turn a really hard day into something meaningful and comforting.
