We pride ourselves on offering ample time for a funeral to take place at its own pace - never rushed. And, we have tea-rooms on site for the Wake.

Amazing place beautiful but more important the staff are lovely my daughter has extra need and they were amazing with her. Gave her food to feed the fish. Turned a sad day into a lovely experience for my little girl thank you. It kept her calm and quiet through out our time their Ladies doing the wake and refreshment are a credit to you so welcoming and lovely

From the outset, everyone with whom we came in contact was very caring and thoughtful. Charlie Boyle, the Funeral Director and Celebrant, discussed with us the background of our aunt, her relationship with friends and family which he then included in his very moving service. The refreshments provided were very good and all the staff very thoughtful and attentive. The morning was overseen by May Lines who ensured that everything ran smoothly.

What an amazing experience from first ‘touch point’ to finally seeing mum going off into the woodlands. All the staff were professional, friendly and supportive from the collecting of mum, to the car park assistants, front of house, florist and our celebrant Charlie Boyle. Charlie was an absolute delight to work with, guiding us through the process, was very respectful of our wishes and ensured everything happened exactly as mum would have wished. And all this in an amazing setting. I can not recommend Tapper’s Funeral Directors highly enough! It was an absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end!!!

We attended the Mother’s Day commemorative service on Sunday 15th March 2026. The service was led by Jon Miles and the whole experience was excellent and very professional and also very touching. The staff from car park attendants to catering staff were absolutely fantastic - the content of the service from the songs and poems was very heartfelt and sincere and made our day, which was always going to be sad, a lot brighter and positive. Just wanted to say thank you and highlight what a wonderful service delivered today.

My wife (Fiona) wished for a woodland burial and as soon as my sons and I visited Harbour View, we knew this was the right place. Charlie looked after everything for me, guiding me through the process and the decisions that needed to be made at a time when decisions are very difficult to make. Sarah was our Celebrant and she quickly understood Fionas’s character and spoke beautifully about her in the service whilst supporting the rest of us. On the day of the funeral, the staff took care of everything and looked after us and our guests wonderfully. I would highly recommend Harbour View Crematorium.
