We can’t recommend Henwood Funerals highly enough. Laura was so sensitive and respect during all of her interactions with us. She is very knowledgeable and so was able to guide us through an unfamiliar process and help us make decisions. This alleviated a lot of stress for us during a very distressing time. Laura always responded quickly to our queries and bent over backwards to meet our wishes. She helped us make memories which we will always treasure. Laura’s attention to detail with every aspect of the funeral was impeccable. It ran so smoothly and was exactly the service we wanted. I’ve always wondered why anyone would want to work as an undertaker. However, I now recognise that it is such an important job and can make a lasting impact on the lives of bereaved families. Knowing Laura was the last person to care for my baby girl gives me some peace. That is a gift. Thank you Laura.

Laura and her team took care of my father after he passed with the utmost dignity and respect. From my first call to them out of hours to the personal delivery of his ashes by Laura the day after the cremation they ensured everything went smoothly. E-mails and text messages were answered promptly and I felt they were always there holding my hand through the whole process. Cannot recommend Henwood Funerals highly enough, they provide a superb truly individual service to the local community and beyond.

From the very first contact with Laura of Henwood Funerals the professionalism shone out. Laura was very empathetic and made organising Mums funeral effortless. Nothing was too much trouble and I could contact her at any time by text or email. Every step of the process of arranging a funeral was explained and taken care of, relieving me and the family of extra stress. When it came to the printing of the Order of Service I explained that I wanted it to look pretty and flowery. Laura came back with the perfect look - exactly matching the flowers that I had chosen. I really cannot recommend Laura and her team highly enough. They went above and beyond

I would not hesitate in highly recommending Laura and her dedicated team. Laura was simply amazing when my aunt unexpectedly passed away, we live 6 hrs away and my parents were not physically fit enough to make the long journey, I am also going through chemotherapy. Laura kindly agreed to look after my aunt's ashes until my treatment is complete later in the year. Laura was always an email or call away to guide and advise what needed doing and arranging ( I hadn't a clue). Laura' compassion and empathy shone throughout and we will be eternally grateful.

5 Star does not seem enough, my mum passed and she wanted an unattended funeral, I respected her wishes. Laura was do kind to bring my mum to me before going to the cremation, I placed flowers on her and said my goodbyes. This was so kind of Laura and I cannot thank her enough. I was able to keep to my mums wishes and say goodbye. I felt better knowing she was not alone. Laura has been so kind and understanding. Thank you so much xxx
