There are not enough stars to give Claire, Wendy and their team. Their kindness, compassion and attention to detail are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they think of absolutely everything so making a difficult time that little bit easier. My mother in law had chosen Claire in advance for her funeral and recorded her wishes which Claire remembered, respected and followed to rhe letter. The flowers and celebrant that Claire recommended were perfect too. Thank you Claire, Wendy and team. Noone ever wants to arrange a funeral but we were lucky to have you help our family through this one. Thank you. ❣️

From the start to the end and beyond, Wendy and Claire provided the most compassionate, personalised care for my great aunt. I immediately felt like I was in safe hands and gently guided through the process. It was the extra touches that really made it all so special. The knitted hearts, the WhatsApp messages, the choice of coffin engraving and wooden heart at the end. On the day they were professional and helpful. It was all a blur to me. But, being able to pop by after the send off and have a long chat and cup of coffee was so special. I can't thank them both enough!

I cant praise Wendy & Claires help enough showing genuine empathy and comfort on our very first meeting letting me know that things will be ok. I cannot recommend Hope Funeral care enough. From our first conversation both Claire and Wendy were clearly the right choice. Their empathy and genuine care for our feelings was clear. Hope have an holistic approach to caring for your loved ones, the small touches that make you sure that what is one of the hardest things anyone can go through is treated with respect, compassion and dignity. Hope Funeral Care does not feel like a business more a vocation … a compassionate mission. My world turned upside down when my husband died unexpectedly while we were on holiday in Sri Lanka. I was alone on the other side of the world trying to make repatriation and funeral arrangements. I was in shock , grieving and overwhelmed. In stepped Hope Funeral Care. I spoke to Claire on the phone and it felt like she was giving me a massive hug. She was kind, empathetic, but strong and practical, and she took a huge burden off my shoulders. She metaphorically took me by the hand and guided me. I honestly could not have survived those first weeks without her. She was thoughtful about every small detail and just a few weeks later we had an amazing celebration of my husbands life. Hope Funeral Care has a different approach - their funeral parlour is a welcoming home, full of thoughtful touches, not a dark oppressive office. And their care doesn’t end with the funeral. They organise regular meet ups for people who are grieving and may benefit from talking to other people in the same situation. I could not recommend this company enough.
