The business was founded by Ian Hazel, a fourth-generation funeral director who joined the family trade in 1977 and set up his own independent business after the former family firm was acquired by Hodgson Holdings. Unfortunately we have had to use the services of Ian Hazel on a few occasions, however that is testament to the professional, caring & compassionate way we have been treated as a family. No detail was left unturned, all arrangements were attended to & we were guided by Sue with expertise but most importantly genuine care. When the time comes when we need these services again we will use Ian Hazel's.
