Julie Brown provided sterling service for our mother's funeral, be it for logistics, administration, ceremony coordination, suggestions, advice... She displayed a perfect balance of sensitivity and firmness to keep everything running smoothly. We were very grateful to have her as it meant we had peace of mind to focus on our loss and on the people present at the ceremony.

Our world came crashing down recently when our beautiful daughter passed away age 22 unexpectedly. Our heads were full of "Where do you go to plan a funeral ? What sort of funeral should it be ?"With a few ideas we had our first meeting with Julie Brown at the Merrow branch. As soon as we first met her, we were comforted by her warmth and understanding. She guided us gently through the whole process with many of her comforting hugs. Julie found a fitting chapel and venue for the service.On the day, Julie and the pallbearers were very professional and made sure everything went smoothly. It was beautiful service and a fitting tribute to our daughter all made possible by Julie and her hard work.Julie noticed Amanda was struggling outside the chapel when she couldn't find me and came to Amanda's rescue which she very much appreciated.We both feel in what has been a heartbreaking time in our lives, a true friend in Julie has been made.Pete & Amanda Aitken

I cannot put into words how supportive Julie was during such a difficult time. I honestly think some people are born into the job they do and she was one of those people.
