Our sincere thanks to Julian and the staff at James and Thomas for the efficient and very sensitive way they looked after the family at a time when we had the loss of a wonderful husband and father. Their support and guidance was very much appreciated and ensured that the funeral arrangements were carried out just as the family wanted.

Following the death of my Mother, we contacted James & Thomas to arrange the funeral. Donna was very kind, understanding & patient & we were very happy with the way our wishes were carried out. We were guided through a very difficult time & were able to arrange a fitting tribute to my Mother, this was entirely due to the time & care taken by Donna, I highly recommend their thoughtful professional service.

From my first meeting with Donna to the hearse leaving Clandon Wood Natural Burial Ground on the day of my husbands funeral they were kind, considerate, compassionate, respectful and always on the end of the phone for any queries I may have had. Donna was so helpful with the arrangements (which seemed a mind field to me) and everything went like clockwork on the day. I cannot praise them enough for everything they did to make a difficult time go so smoothly.

We used the office on Woodham Lane and I cannot say enough good things about the service we received from all the staff at this company. They were so professional, caring and helpful. We felt such a weight was lifted once they took over. They looked after my Mum so well and we were able to visit her anytime, which greatly helped my Dad. They assisted us in planning the service that we wanted and they were very accommodating. On the day of the service everything went like clockwork. They treated us so very well and I have to say Sam is truly one of the loveliest men I have met. You really feel you are with people who truly care about you. We arranged a funeral for my uncle with James and Thomas having felt the funeral director who we initially went to and who arranged the funeral of his wife was less than helpful. It was very difficult for us as strangers to the area to know who to go to instead. We saw James and Thomas premises by chance and from the moment we walked in and the greeting we received from Donna we knew we had come to the right place. Everything was arranged quickly and to our complete satisfaction. Donna was in touch as necessary and we felt confident and grateful that living hundreds of miles away ourselves everything had been left in good hands. The service went perfectly to plan and in every respect was dignified. A number of people have asked me who the Funeral Directors were subsequently, endorsing me view of the arrangements. Thank you.
