From the very first contact, the care and compassion shown by the team — and especially Gemma — meant more to us than I can properly put into words. During one of the hardest times of our lives, we were treated with such kindness, patience, and dignity. Nothing ever felt rushed, and no question or concern was ever too small. Gemma guided us through every step with warmth and sensitivity, making an overwhelming process feel manageable and safe. We always felt listened to and supported, and that meant everything. We will always be grateful for the care shown to our family and for helping us say goodbye in such a respectful and meaningful way.

After we lost our dear mam Mary, I decided to put my trust and her care inthe hands of John Hogg. I could not have made a better decision, Stuart Goldsmith looked after all the details in the most professional but compassionate way. He was such a gentle, kind and compassionate man who made all of our family feel at ease at this sad time. I thank all of John Hogg staff and Samantha Ayre the celebrant, and have no hesitation in recommending their first class service.

After losing my husband Simon suddenly in September. I never ever dreamed I would have to plan a funeral for him at such a young age. However I used John Hoggs after recommendation and Claire was absolutely amazing. She guided me through the whole process with care and dignity. Claire and all of the team looked after Mam (and us) with dignity, respect and care. Claire organised the perfect private funeral for Mam just as she wanted it.
