John G Hogg Funeral Directors dealt with arrangements for our Uncle's cremation. They were compassionate and helpful at a very sad time for us. Stuart Goldsmith was so understanding and assisted with the whole process. Each time I contacted them everyone was extremely helpful. Loosing a loved one is distressing for all involved but from the minute of contact I knew that my uncle was in caring hands. I can't thank Stuart and his colleagues enough for all they did for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

The whole experience of arranging my husbands funeral with John Hogg Funeral Directors was faultless. From the time I met Stewart who did all the arrangements and Gemma who was there on the day, we were treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. David was certainly given the send off he deserved and we were helped through the sadest and hardest of times for us. Big thank you to everyone involved.

Our lovely mam passed away on the 12th February and we were all so heartbroken, devastated and completely lost!! We contacted Hoggs and Stephen came to see us to start the process and arrangements to collect Mam from the hospital. Stephen told us the steps of what would happen from the hospital, council and themselves and once they had everything in place regarding paperwork they could take her to be cared for. Stephen was very professional and empathetic to the family and anything we were unsure of or needed we could call anytime. We knew from meeting Stephen our mam was in very safe hands and would be well looked after by Stephen and the team at Hoggs while the funeral arrangements were prepared for her final journey. Thanks for everything Stephen and especially your kind words and hug at the cemetery! Thanks for all the help and support you and the rest of Hoggs gave us! Yous were so professional and kind. On Saturday 17th January 2026 our lives were shattered and our hearts broken when our loving and devoted Mam left us. From that evening when the staff came to collect Mam and take her to be cared for and prepared, to the day of the funeral, the staff at John G Hogg were a massive support to us. Through the consultations, Gemma was professional and empathetic to both me and my sister and nothing was a problem or a bother to her. I have no doubt that Mam was in very safe and competent hands to be cared for and prepared for her final journey. Thanks for everything Gemma, you and the team were amazing !!
