L Clarke & Sons is an independent funeral home located in Braunton, Devon, operating as part of RPB Funerals Ltd. The branch has deep roots in the local community, with director Roger P Byrom having first joined L Clarke & Sons in 2001 when it was owned by the Co-op. Roger, a Braunton local himself, purchased the funeral home alongside his wife Paula and has since built it into a trusted, family-run establishment dedicated to serving the families of North Devon.
Roger has been involved in the funeral industry since 1997 and holds a Diploma in Funeral Directing. His son Chris, also a Braunton native, joined the business in 2010 and has since gained a Diploma with the British Institute of Embalmers. Together, they bring a personal, compassionate approach to every funeral arrangement.
L Clarke & Sons offers both traditional and modern funeral services, including pre-paid funeral plans, direct cremation, monumental masonry, and bereavement support. The team prides itself on transparent pricing with no hidden extras, and is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
