What families say

"We had to organise a cremation and the logistics of getting his ashes back to his native Estonia, which was very daunting for me while still in shock from my friend passing away. They helped me throughout and made everything so smooth for me and his family back home. Paul and Dan, thanks for everything, you made a very difficult time in my life a lot easier for me."

— Daniel Popplewell (about Paul and Dan)

"They have made us feel very comfortable and made this whole new experience for us very easy. They do not pressure you into buying anything and they listen to what you want and work around that. Our mum would have loved them. Thank you so much for making this sad experience one we can truly remember and lay mum to rest knowing she was in safe hands."

— Robin Harper (about Paul and Dan)

"He was down to earth, respectful of our Indian traditions/rituals, and knew exactly how to work with different/strong personalities in the family to ensure everything went smooth on the day. He even provided guidance on preparing for my Dad's eulogy, and was in touch even after the funeral. This feedback was unsolicited - I specifically asked to provide feedback to support this small family business so others can trust their services like I did."

— Shiamalee Perumal (about Paul)

"At no point did we feel anything less than cared for and like we were the only clients they had. They were professional, courteous, compassionate and helpful when arranging things no parent should ever have to do. We're so grateful to have come across them and thank you again for helping us get the closure we needed after such a traumatic time."

— Jessica Whitgrave

"No one looks up funeral director reviews for fun, if you're here I'm sorry for your loss. We lost our baby before we met her and, without asking for anything, Paul was kind enough to explain everything to us, arrange a cremation and ceremony for her and be a steady hand throughout the process. In every move, he showed his experience, knowing when to provide a kind word, when to step back and let us grieve and when to guide us forward. Pick Paul if you want a safe and sincere pair of hands."

— Lap Way Tong (about Paul)

"We were desperately looking for funeral directors who would accept to arrange for the cremation of our baby that we lost in early pregnancy. While they offer this service free of charge - and in addition to their day-to-day business - they do it with professional attitude, discretion, attention for detail and care. We felt supported in our grief and they helped us treasure the memory of our lost baby in such a special way."

Paul and Dan were fantastic. I called a few funeral directors with a special request that none of them were happy to help me with but Paul and Dan stepped up and everything I asked for they provided and they helped give my mum and I the pefect send off. All I had to arrange was where to celebrate her life afterwards. Again they were fantastic and I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know. Thank you lasds.

Well what can I say about LDC Funeral service, it is run by two amazing brothers Paul and Dan and Paul's lovely wife Ann. They have made us feel very comfortable and made this whole new experience for us very easy. They do not pressure you into buying anything and they listen to what you want and work around that. They have gone above and beyond and we couldn't be more thankful and happier. Our mum would have loved them ❀️😊. Thank you so much for making this sad experience one we can truly remember and lay mum to rest knowing she was in safe hands. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is suffering the pain of loss as they make it the most comfortable it can be.

Absolutely superb customer service, communication and professionalism from the very start, during and afterwards. I had the unfortunate experience of having to organise a funeral for a very close friend that had no family in London. We had to organise a cremation and the logistics of getting his ashes back to his native Estonia, which was very daunting for me while still in shock from my friend passing away. They helped me throughout and made everything so smooth for me and his family back home. Their celebrant Andrew was amazing too, such a brilliant service that we live-streamed and then made sure I had the recorded video afterwards, even though I'd completely forgotten to request that. I obviously don't want to go through anything like this again but if myself or anybody I knew was to need this kind of help; there would only be one company they would contact. Paul and Dan, thanks for everything, you made a very difficult time in my life a lot easier for me. X

I recently had the difficult experience of arranging a cremation for my dad, and I was impressed with the service provided by LDC Funeral Services Ltd. From the initial phone call to collecting the ashes, the staff were compassionate, respectful, and professional. The funeral director, was particularly helpful in guiding me through the process and answering all my questions and made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Overall, I would recommend LDC Funeral Services Ltd. to anyone in need of a cremation service. They provided a professional and compassionate service, and I was grateful for their support during a difficult time.

We were desperately looking for funeral directors who would accept to arrange for the cremation of our baby that we lost in early pregnancy. We were already giving up hope to find a place where this is possible when we discovered by coincidence LDC Funeral Directors offering a unique service for the cremation of babies. From start to finish, Paul and Dan Farrell admirably helped us with sorting out all formalities and arranging for the practical aspects of the cremation. We appreciated their proactive approach as well as the extra time they made to obtain the right medical documents from the hospital and to liaise with the Crematorium. While they offer this service free of charge - and in addition to their day-to-day business - they do it with professional attitude, discretion, attention for detail and care. We had the occasion to meet both in person and were charmed by their sympathy, generosity and kindness. We felt supported in our grief and they helped us treasure the memory of our lost baby in such a special way. To all parents who are experiencing the loss of a baby - we highly recommend LDC Funeral Directors’ cremation service and their wonderful team.
