I highly recommend Markham Funeral Service, 5 star service from Andy from start to finish. Andy helped and guided us every step of the way when we were faced with organising our mums funeral and not having any idea what to do. Andy took time to explain everything that was available to us from choosing the type of coffin/basket we wanted, the different options of transport available for mum to the crematorium, flowers and order of service. Andy also recommended and organised a fantastic Celebrant to conduct the funeral. If we had any questions or concerns in the days leading up to the funeral Andy was always quick to respond. The day of the funeral was handled with respect and mum was well looked after just as she had been whist in the care of Andy and Nikki at Markham Funeral Service. Losing someone you love is devastating and navigating your way through all the arrangements that need to be made is completely overwhelming. I cannot thank Andy and Nikki enough for their kindness, compassion, understanding and professionalism following the death of my husband. From the very beginning, they were incredibly supportive, compassionate, and guided me through every step of arranging my brother's funeral. During one of the most difficult times of my life, Andy Markham and his team were always there to offer advice, reassurance, and support. They worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was exactly as we wanted it, paying attention to every detail and making the whole process as stress-free as possible. The service itself was handled beautifully, and their professionalism, care, and dedication were evident throughout. When faced with selecting a funeral directors we were recommended Markham by a friend of the family. Not knowing quite how to select a funeral directors after Dads passing, we looked at the Google reviews. I can honestly say, the reviews that they receive are well deserved. Andy and Nikki guided me through the first funeral I have had to arrange and they did so with such professionalism, understanding and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We asked guests to wear something green in their outfit and all of the Markham staff on the day were wearing green ties. We hadn't requested this, but it was such a lovely gesture and shows how much they had picked up on something small I had mentioned in passing and incorporated it into the day. The entire team were a credit to Andy and Nikki. Thank you so much for your guidance and support and for looking after Dad. You will never know how much of a help you were for me during this difficult time.

From the first day we walked into their offices looking for help and advice, to the end of Dad’s funeral yesterday, Andy and the team have been genuinely caring, professional and graceful.
