McCallum & Tritton Funeral Directors has been serving the communities of North Merseyside for over 70 years, having conducted their first funeral in 1953. Founded through the partnership of Douglas McCallum and Charles Tritton, the business has built an enviable reputation for quality, underpinned by a compassionate and highly professional approach to funeral arrangements. The Bootle branch is located at 510 Stanley Road and forms part of the company's commitment to serving the people of the wider North Merseyside area.
The company is now run by Andrew Stones, who joined as a partner in 2011 following 42 years with the firm, and he continues to uphold the founding principles established by Charlie, Douglas, and Eileen. He is supported by qualified funeral directors David Bray and Ainsley Ottley. The team is well-established, with most staff having been with the company for many years.
McCallum & Tritton offer a comprehensive range of services, from simple direct cremations to more elaborate funerals, including horse-drawn vehicles and motorcycle hearses on request. Their fleet of Mercedes hearses and limousines has been maintained for over 40 years. Eco-friendly wicker and cardboard coffins, pre-paid funeral plans, and a 24-hour personal service are also available, ensuring every family's individual needs are sensitively catered for.
