Had a dreadfully upsetting experience. My son died from suicide at 38 years old. We are an extremely difficult family, which I explained to the allotted funeral director. My ex husband completely took over, making all the arrangements for the funeral without any consultation with me. He lives in Ireland. The funeral director did not consult with me either. They only took notice of my ex husband and ignored me. I was excluded at every level. The celebrant sent me 3 texts about the service. At the funeral, he completely ignored me. Worst experience ever. It was bad enough that my son had died.Choose a funeral director who is experienced in dealing with difficult families. The experience I had with OHara was absolutely dreadful

I cannot thank Chester Pearce enough. Everyone we met was incredibly thoughtful and sensitive during each stage of the funeral process. Losing our baby was absolutely devastating, but they made the goodbye beautiful and memorable. Thank you Chester Pearce.

On behalf of my family I want to thank Chester Pearce for everything they did to help us, after the passing of my Mum. The kindness you all showed to my Dad and us was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble , even allowing Betty to be part of the process! My Dad adores her.. A massive thank you to Liz for all of your advice and help in organizing everything, to Steve for being such a rock on the day of Mum's funeral, to Jodie for being so caring everytime I rang in and being so helpful in all the little things. But mostly thank you for caring for our Mum in a dignified and loving manner, we felt she was cared for, like she was one of your own. We will be forever gratefulThe Frost Family xx

I had been to a funeral of a friend and the Funeral Director was Chester Pearce. I was very impressed with the service, and the care and sincerity I could see that Steve was giving the family.Shortly after my partner sadly died and of course it was obvious to me that I should choose Chester Pearce. They were wonderful. I was in good hands and I totally felt looked after. Steve and Jodie are amazing and so good hearted and caring and went the extra mile.I would highly recommend this company, they are professional and have the very caring touch too.
