Organising a funeral for a loved one is always stressful and extremely sad. I could not asked for a better company than Mulligans at Northumberland Heath to guide us through the whole business and to help and support us in creating a fit, meaningful and caring funeral for my dear Mother in December. Actually, a number of those in attendance said that they had been impressed with how respectful and well it had gone. ‘A lovely funeral saying goodbye to…’ was said to us more than once. Actually Mulligans impressed us when they came to collect Mum’s body on the night she died and then during the actual service they were brilliant. Respectful, caring and totally professional. However the real star was the Funeral Organiser in their branch, Kim. She listened to what we wanted, made sure it happened, sympathised with us over a cup of coffee and made the experience considerably easier. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to visit and talk things through as much as we needed. I am so glad we chose Mulligans and thank Kim from the bottom of our hearts. I hope very much it will be a long time before I have to plan another funeral but when it does happen, Mulligans will be my first port of call.
