Pearce Funeral Services is an award-winning, independent family funeral directors based in Swindon, Wiltshire. The Westlea branch, located at Rivenhall Road, serves the West Swindon area and offers families a convenient, local option for arranging dignified and personalised funeral services. Run by John Pearce DipFD MBIE, who has over 33 years of experience in the funeral profession since beginning his career in 1990, the business is built on the core values of care, compassion, and courtesy.
The Rivenhall Road branch provides arrangement rooms where families can meet with staff between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and home visits are always offered for those who prefer to discuss arrangements in their own surroundings. The telephone line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Notably, no deposit or upfront payment is required before the funeral takes place, allowing families the time and space to organise their affairs without financial pressure.
Pearce Funeral Services has received numerous accolades, including the 2026 Diamond Distinction Award, Funeral Director of the Year in Wiltshire 2025, and Most Compassionate Funeral Director in Wiltshire 2024. The service has been recommended in The Good Funeral Guide since 2011 and is a member of NAFD, SAIF, and the British Institute of Embalmers.
