Founded in 1935 by Reginald Basil Copping in the rural village of Shotesham, Norfolk, the business has grown over decades to become a highly respected and trusted local funeral service. The Poringland office was established in 2011, and the company continues to serve Poringland, South Norfolk, and the surrounding communities with care and professionalism.
The team is available 24 hours a day and does not use call centres to answer telephone lines out of hours, ensuring a personal and professional response at all times. They offer a full range of funeral services including direct cremation, cremation, churchyard burial, and woodland natural burial, catering for every cultural, religious, alternative belief, and eco-friendly consideration. Floral tributes are arranged through Elizabeths the Florists, and donation options to local charities are also supported.
R.B. Copping is proud to treat every family and their loved ones with dignity and respect, guiding them through each step of the funeral arrangements with calm and compassion. The business is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Funeral Plans and is committed to transparent pricing in line with CMA requirements.
