Kate supported us from the moment I walked into the West Wickham branch. From the very start, her focus was on how we were and on truly understanding our beloved Sonia. She guided us gently through every step, answering difficult questions with kindness, patience, and compassion, and helping us make the right decisions to honour our family’s wishes. While Sonia was in Roland Brothers’ care, we felt completely reassured that she was being treated with dignity and respect. Kate kept us informed throughout, which meant so much during such a difficult time. On the day of the funeral, everything was handled beautifully and with great respect. The ceremony was thoughtful and loving in every detail, and the team accompanying Sonia were kind, attentive, and checked in with us throughout. Thank you, Kate, and the whole team, for ensuring Sonia’s final journey was surrounded by care, dignity, and love.

We visited Rowland Brothers shortly after my Dad's sudden passing. Tracy had such a warm and supportive energy. She handled every meeting, call, email and request with an extremely high level of professionalism. On the day we were supported by Adam. He and his team were professional, respectful and so considerate. Planning a funeral whilst grieving is extremely painful. However Rowland Brothers helped to make the process that bit easier. Rowland Brothers deserve more than 5 stars, they deserve 10 stars plus, they have been exceptional, from the begining to the end. Kate, Tracy and Adam are kind, caring, professional and empathetic. They answered my numerous questions with understanding and patience and profesionalism, they did not get tired of answering my many questions. The funeral service went exactly as planned plus more. They all went above and beyond, not forgetting Jess at Whitehorse Road who was amazing. I went to a few funeral directors in West Wickham, what makes Rowland Brothers unique is they treated me as a human being and made me feel very comfortable and at ease, they made a very difficult time bearable. Even the aftercare is amazing they have made me feel that I am their friend.Their are no words that can express how wonderful Tracy and Kate have been. Rowland Brothers in West Wickham have managed all aspects of my mum’s funeral arrangements excellently and sympathetically. Tracy in particular worked tirelessly to make sure the family’s wishes were followed, whilst also offering very helpful advice and suggestions when required. Nothing was too much trouble and the funeral took place just as we wanted. I couldn’t have asked for more. Even after the funeral Tracy has continued to follow up to ensure the remaining arrangements following the cremation are completed without any issues. I thoroughly recommend Rowland Brothers to manage and help at this difficult time having just lost a much loved family member. Thank you.

We received excellent care throughout the process of my mother’s death and funeral and I’m more than happy to recommend the team at Rowlands in West Wickham. We had wished to use their previous incarnation, Killicks as we did for my father in 2014 and were delighted to find that Peter’s son is still heavily involved in this team. We wanted the personal touch of a small family business rather than a large company and we definitely got this right up to support on the day, having decided to lead the funeral ourselves.
