Rowlands Funeral Services is the only independent, family-owned funeral service in Petersfield, Hampshire, with a proud history dating back to 1934. Founded by Percy Vincent in partnership with his father-in-law William Rowland, the business has been serving the communities of Hampshire, West Sussex and beyond for three generations. The original philosophy — 'Every client will be cared for as though they were part of our family' — remains at the heart of everything they do today, under the leadership of current Director Marsha Vincent, the founder's granddaughter.
Located in the centre of Petersfield at St Peter's Road, the branch offers an extensive range of facilities under one roof, including four Chapels of Rest, a Service Chapel, and a personal key system allowing families to visit at any time. Their coverage extends to Rowlands Castle, Havant, Waterlooville, Liss, Liphook, and surrounding areas. The team operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring families always have support when they need it most.
Rowlands Funeral Services offers a wide variety of funeral vehicles, from traditional horse-drawn carriages to classic VW Camper Vans, alongside memorials, coffins, and pre-payment plans. Their highly qualified and experienced staff are committed to delivering a dignified, compassionate, and stress-free service tailored to each family's individual needs.
