"Michael kept us updated and was so supportive during the process. From arranging a coffin, flowers, cremation, speaking to the priest — all was taken care of. Even specific music for the ceremony."
— Richard Hulme (about Michael)
"Their manner and calm demeanour was always present and reassuring to see. Every detail no matter how small was dealt with the utmost care and consideration."
— Janet Young (about Michael, Paul)
"The Team at Sigleys have been looking after my family for decades. Nothing was too much trouble — all arrangements were made remotely with our family being in London, and my mother was collected and brought back home to Leek. The professionalism they showed during the period and the day are second to none."
— Richard Hulme (about Michael, Paul)
"We just wouldn't go anywhere else. We could not have sent mum off on her next journey in a more fitting way. Every detail no matter how small was dealt with the utmost care and consideration."
— Janet Young (about Michael, Paul)
"Contacting them is like speaking to old friends. They are always helpful, respectful and caring, every detail seemed as important to them as it was to me."
— Ann Bruce (about Michael)
"When you lose a loved one, especially a close loved one, you need that support and I'm immensely thankful and grateful to Sigley's for providing both that and a service that is second to none. They guided and supported us through absolutely every step, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without that support."

I would like to thank all the team at Sigleys for their excellent service following the recent death of my father. As a family we have used Sigleys before although not for a number of years but contacting them is like speaking to old friends. They are always helpful, respectful and caring, every detail seemed as important to them as it was to me. Michael was always on hand to discuss any aspect of the arrangements and was supportive and practical throughout. The buffet supplied after the service was excellent and the catering team were exceptional too, with a genuine concern that everyone was looked after. A huge thank you to you all.

We can’t thank Michael, Paul and all the staff at sigleys for their outstanding professionalism during every aspect of my mother Eileen Rose Young’s funeral arrangements. Every detail no matter how small was dealt with the utmost care and consideration, their manner and calm demeanour was always present and reassuring to see. We would always say sigleys are the very best and have done for many many years, we just wouldn’t go anywhere else . So a big thankyou from our family , we could not have sent mum off on her next journey in a more fitting way.

I could not ask for a better service. My family have known Sigleys for many years and following the loss of my mum, they guided and supported us through absolutely every step, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without that support. From the process relating to the death certificate to the empathetic and respectful way Joe, Paul, Michael, Jim and other staff whose names I unfortunately don't know looked after my mum and treated us all with the utmost kindness. I must also thank Joe's Aunt Julie for her kindness and the beautiful spread of food she provided. When you lose a loved one, especially a close loved one in this case, you need that support and I'm immensely thankful and grateful to Sigley's for providing both that and a service that is second to none. A huge thank you to you all with much appreciation.

The Team (Family) at Sigleys have been looking after my family for decades Grandparents, Great Uncle and now my dear Mother Pat. Throughout the organising of arrangements, Michael kept us updated and was so supportive during the process. Nothing was too much trouble, and we appreciated the guidance from him and Paul. All the arrangements we made remotely with our family being in London. From arranging a coffin, flowers, cremation/burial speaking to the priest all was taken care of. Even specific music for the ceremony. Arrangements easily were made over the phone and by email and my mother was collected and brought back home to leek. I cannot commend the team more highly for the professionalism they have shown during the period and the day are second to none. We were treated to a lovely buffet at Lyndhurst House to thank our friends and family. Thank you all, Rich, Reni and Family.

As a local Funeral Celebrant and Grief Specialist, I find the people of Samuel Sigley & Sons, so easy to work with. They are well respected within the area. Stunning fleet! I would personally like to thank them for their continued support and for allowing me the honour of using their premises recently to promote a very presitigious global award.
