Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors is a long-established family funeral business based in Downpatrick, County Down, serving the local community since 1962. Originally operated for over 40 years at 72 Scotch Street, Downpatrick by the late Seamus Fitzsimons and his sister Helena, the business has a proud history of dedicated service to the local community.
As of 1st June 2012, the business relocated to its current premises at 24 English Street, Downpatrick, and continues under the management of Ciaran Fitzpatrick of Peter Fitzpatrick & Sons Estate Agents, a well-established business in the Down area. The new premises provide a private reception room where families can arrange funerals in a comfortable and dignified setting, as well as a rest room available for the repose of the deceased prior to going home or to church.
Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors offers a comprehensive range of services, including funeral plans, death notices, order of service, headstones, coffins, and assistance with registering a death. Their services are available 24 hours a day, reflecting their commitment to being there for families whenever they are needed.
