Stannington Funeral Services is a branch of John Heath & Sons, one of Sheffield's most established and respected independent family funeral directors. With over 140 years of history serving the Sheffield community, John Heath & Sons is considered possibly the oldest and largest family-owned funeral director firm in the North of England, now in its sixth generation of family ownership under Adam and Jason Heath.
The Stannington branch forms part of a network of eight beautiful locations across Sheffield and the surrounding area, each featuring modern chapels of rest to provide families with a peaceful and dignified setting during their time of need. The branch at 98 Oldfield Road offers the same high standard of personal, compassionate care that the John Heath & Sons name has been built upon across generations.
As founder members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and members of the British Institute of Embalmers and the British Institute of Funeral Directors, the firm upholds the highest professional standards. Services available include traditional cremation and burial, non-religious and humanist funerals, green and woodland funerals, direct cremations, and pre-planned funeral arrangements. Families are supported at every stage, from the first call through to the day itself.
