I would recommend that this funeral "service" be avoided at all costs especially emotionally. The Funeral Director was bullying, rude and aggressive. This is my only recourse to warn people to seek comfort elsewhere.

After a terrible and very unprofessional experience I have had with Swanns I would advise anyone to stay well away from this funeral home. After someone close to you passes away you need to know your in good hands which is the absolute opposite to how I felt. I phoned up to start the arrangements for my daughters funeral and the initial phone call was excellent, they sent me the information through then went onto book an appointment to make the arrangements, I had to wait 8 days for this appointment then when I arrived at the office they informed me it had been changed to a telephone appointment, which I did not want anyway, but to make things worse the telephone appointment was with co-operative funeral care in Coalville not even Swanns. I decided I had lost all faith and went to Kriss Morrison Cooper who all the way through were excellent and very professional taking amazing care of our daughter, save yourself time and AVOID Swanns

At such a sad time of losing my wife Julie after 46 years,i would just like to say a very big thank you to Swanns Funeral Home.There were definitely the right choice.Very professional,everything went exactly as planned,nothing was too much trouble.They didn't rush you into decisions,everything was always helpful advice.I would like to say a big thank you all staff,especially Tracey for expertly sorting everything out.Thank You from Geoff Redman & daughter Michelle

They did a nice job for the funeral, but after they was rushing for money, had to ring to sort things out then ended up having to chase them to finish off payments. And today we bury the ashes they wasn’t there, had to ring they didn’t know anything had to wait for them to ring back while waiting at cemetery then finally one turned up with ashes he put it in and left no words no respect nothing what a let down. Will not be using again.
