T Allen Funeral Service is a family-owned and operated funeral service based in Twydall, Gillingham, Kent, serving the Kent and Medway area. The business was founded by Lynn and Terry Allen in September 1995, with Terry having begun his career in the funeral industry in 1972 at the age of 15, when he joined Francis Chappel and Sons. There he learned the full range of funeral trade skills, including preparing coffins, collecting the deceased from hospitals and homes, and serving as a pallbearer.
The company's main aim is to maintain a professional, sympathetic, and warm approach during what is an incredibly difficult time for families. T. Allen Funeral Services Limited is a proud member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), reflecting their commitment to high industry standards.
The service offers a wide range of funeral options including burial, cremation, eco funerals, and non-religious services, as well as pre-paid funeral plans and private chapels of rest. Their fleet includes distinctive vehicles such as a Land Rover Hearse, Daimler Hearse, and a 1963 Vanden Plas Austin Princess Hearse, allowing for truly personalised farewell arrangements.
