When someone dies, it’s our job to step in and take care of all the arrangements. This whole process starts with us sitting with you as a family and discussing what you want. We listen and provide comfort, we care, support and enable you to say farewell in your own way giving you peace of mind that you could not have done better.
"Clyve, Bryan and Lisa at Ugaldes were incredibly sensitive, supportive and accommodating right from the start. Between them they enabled us to have a very individual ceremony. It was a beautiful and moving day and I cannot thank all of those mentioned for supporting us to achieve this."
— Sue Peck (about Bryan)
"Their attention to detail, their professionalism and utmost respect for all of us enabled us to keep going through a most emotional time. I just hope that I die before the Ugaldes, because I wouldn't want anyone else to conduct my funeral!"
— Sal Quadling
"Bryan was extremely supportive throughout, checking in to see how the family were coping, especially following the impact of two losses so close together. Bryan and the whole team showed a high degree of thought, consideration and professionalism, ensuring we were able to say goodbye to our parents in the way they had wanted."
— Philippa Van Tromp (about Bryan)
"The small touches, especially the pint of Guinness at his goodbye, which reflected my father's nature, were handled with both humour and poetic justice. It was these little personal touches that Bryan brought to my father's goodbye that made it so intimate."
— Rhiannon Richards (about Bryan)
"At a time when the bottom had dropped out of my world, they were there to offer support and guidance on every aspect of my late husband's funeral. Nothing was too much trouble, all my ideas were considered and realised. Some things even exceeded what I believed to be possible."
— Bernie Cole
"Bryan, in particular, was incredibly supportive to my son, who was struggling with his grief. The time and care he gave him meant more than words can express. The kindness, compassion, and genuine care shown by the entire Ugalde family will stay with us forever."
— Jennie Strudwick (about Bryan)

From start to finish, the care, compassion and support was incredibly welcome. This was the first death/cremation I have had to deal with and the Ugalde team were exceptional. Thank you.

I cannot thank the Ugalde family enough for the care, compassion, and support they gave to both me and my son during the most difficult times of our lives. When my father passed away, they took all of the pressure off my shoulders. They listened carefully to what he wanted and delivered his farewell exactly as he would have wished. I would not change a single detail. Nearly18 months later, when my mother passed away, the Ugalde family were there for us from the very first phone call. From bringing Mum into their care to guiding us through every step of the funeral arrangements, nothing was ever too much trouble. Every question was answered with patience, and every change was handled with kindness and understanding. All made easier by being able to just drive into their private car park, to ask those important questions to add detail in person face to face rather than on the phone. Bryan, in particular, was incredibly supportive to my son, who was struggling with his grief. The time and care he gave him meant more than words can express. My mum’s farewell was carried out with the utmost dignity, respect, and professionalism, just as my father’s had been. The kindness, compassion, and genuine care shown by the entire Ugalde family will stay with us forever. I am deeply grateful and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone needing support at such a difficult time.

Unfortunately, our family has had cause to use Ugalde & Son on a number of occasions over the years. We have always been treated with professional courtesy, sympathy and respect. Highly recommended, wouldn’t use anyone else.

Under such enormous grief, we found Bryan at Ugalde and Sons to be empathetic, professional, heartfelt, and understanding. A true master of his trade. My father, who passed away at 93, could not have been better looked after under any circumstances. His care felt personal, and the small touches, especially the pint of Guinness at his goodbye, which reflected my father’s nature, were handled with both humour and poetic justice. It was these little personal touches that Bryan brought to my father’s goodbye that made it so intimate. We cannot thank Bryan and the staff at Ugalde and Son enough and would highly recommend them for the care and understanding they gave me and my family. A big thank you to all the staff for the care and consideration shown at such a sad time. I can only express gratitude for such a wonderful send-off. Kindest Regards, John and the Richards family

Ugalde and Son could not have been more accommodating in supporting us in making funeral arrangements for my mother. At every stage they did all possible to taylor the details in a sensitive way. We would highly recommend Ugalde and Son and are truly greatful for the high levels of service provided.
