When someone dies, it’s our job to step in and take care of all the arrangements. This whole process starts with us sitting with you as a family and discussing what you want. We listen and provide comfort, we care, support and enable you to say farewell in your own way giving you peace of mind that you could not have done better.
"Thoughtful, accommodating, compassionate, astute, attentive, considerate, obliging, kind, marvellous, sincere. It is difficult to find the right words that explain just how amazing these guys and gals are at Ugalde's."

"Their attention to detail, their professionalism and utmost respect for all of us enabled us to keep going through a most emotional time, and allowed us to fully concentrate on saying goodbye to our loved one. I just hope that I die before the Ugaldes, because I wouldn't want anyone else to conduct my funeral!"
— Sal Quadling (about Jesse Foot)
"At a time when the bottom had dropped out of my world, they were there to offer support and guidance on every aspect of my late husband's funeral. Nothing was too much trouble, all my ideas were considered and realised. Some things even exceeded what I believed to be possible."

The most astonishing levels of care and consideration were present through every interaction with everyone at Ugalde and Son. Their attention to detail, their professionalism and utmost respect for all of us enabled us to keep going through a most emotional time, and allowed us to fully concentrate on saying goodbye to our loved one. The celebrant connected to the Ugaldes, Jesse Foot, is a remarkable addition to the team, and made the service into a moving, personal and humorous occasion, and his deft handling of our time together added a certain memorable touch. I just hope that I die before the Ugaldes, because I wouldn't want anyone else to conduct my funeral!

We can't recommend Ugalde's more highly. An extremely skilled and professional team who will gently and compassionately steer you through what is a difficult moment in your life, ensuring you are able to give your loved ones a truly personal send off. We lost both our mum and dad this year and they wanted quite different funerals. Each time, Bryan listened carefully, took on board our requests and helped us to put together exactly what we wanted for each parent, covering every aspect; catering, flowers, designing and printing the order of service, to name a few. As well as dealing with the practicalities, Bryan was extremely supportive throughout, checking in to see how the family were coping, especially following the impact of two losses so close together. In short, Bryan and the whole team at Ugalde's showed a high degree of thought, consideration and professionalism, in the planning, the lead up to, and on the day of each funeral, ensuring all went smoothly from start to finish and that we were able to say goodbye to our parents in the way they had wanted.

Very professional, attentive and caring undertakers. Everything went smoothly from start to finish taking all the stress off the family. Everything arranged well from flowers, to venue for the funeral and the wake. No hesitation in recommending Ugaldes.

As a family we wanted a very personal, non traditional funeral for Graham, my late husband. Clyve, Bryan and Lisa at Ugaldes were incredibly sensitive, supportive and accommodating right from the start. We worked with them and their partners Ele and Anthony at Pentiddy Natural Buriel Ground and Sue And Mike at Tapanades catering to plan a unique celebration of Grahams life. It was a refreshing change from a restrictive slot at a crematorium or traditional burial site. Between them they enabled us to have a very individual ceremony. It was a beautiful and moving day and I cannot thank all of those mentioned above in supporting us to achieve this. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this funeral company, burial site and caterers who all worked so well together. Additional thanks go to Jessie Carr at Cornish Willow Coffins for the most beautiful casket and for including us in the weaving of the coffin.
