W Sherry & Sons Funeral Directors has been serving the local community since 1850, making it one of the most established funeral directors in West London and the surrounding areas. The Ickenham branch, located at 4 Long Lane, is part of a network of nine branches operated by the sixth and seventh generations of the Sherry family, Neil and Brooke Sherry, who currently serve as Business Principals. The company is a founder member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and is the appointed funeral director for several London Boroughs.
The Ickenham branch is known for its compassionate and professional service, with staff going above and beyond to support families during difficult times. The branch is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and offers a comprehensive range of funeral services including cremations, burials, green and woodland funerals, unattended cremations, and repatriation. Prepaid funeral plans are also available to help families plan ahead.
The team at Ickenham, including Nicky Sims who has been specifically praised by families for her support and guidance, reflects the caring ethos that W Sherry & Sons has maintained throughout its long history. As part of Funeral Partners Limited, the branch combines local heritage with professional support to ensure every family receives the highest standard of care.
"At this sad and difficult time, it was reassuring to have Sharon's guidance and expertise. I am also most grateful for Andrew's support in the days leading up to the funeral and on the day itself for the courteous, compassionate and professional service that Sherrys provided."
— Tony Brown (about Sharon)

"Outstanding service from beginning to end. They dealt with the celebrant taken ill 2 days before the funeral and the stand in at short notice was excellent. Nicky also negotiated the family difficulties with great sensitivity. Absolutely first class team to support us throughout a difficult time."
— Julia Robson (about Nicky)
"As overwhelming as planning a loved one's funeral can be, we felt we were in safe hands with Nicky from the first time we met her. We were able to give our loved one the send off she truly deserved thanks to all of you. You made a very difficult time a little easier."
— Malin Roberts (about Nicky)

The service from start to finish was absolutely 5-star! Nicky’s communication was brilliant throughout, and the rest of the team was just as excellent. I met Andy on the day, and he also contacted me beforehand. They could not have been more helpful. A massive thank you to all of you!

I can't put into words how amazing the service from Sherry and sons has been. Totally professional, helpful in every way. Nicky is so kind and caring and 100% good at her job. David was also lovely and so caring. Even when my shoe fell apart (long story) 🙂 thank you x

As overwhelming as planning a loved one’s funeral can be, we felt we were in safe hands with Nicky from the first time we met her. She has been so helpful, thoughtful and efficient. The other services recommended by her: flowers (Lauren), celebrant (Emma) and the conductor (David) all offered a five star service. We were able to give our loved one the send off she truly deserved thanks to all of you. You made a very difficult time a little easier.

Nicky Sims was really wonderful in guiding us through the whole process. Her warmth, caring and beautiful nature make the whole experience so much easier to deal with. We would also like to thank Neil who contacted us on the morning to explain the days layout and if we had any question he would be on hand. Both the celebrant Barbara Sharma and the florist Lauren were lovely to deal with and at all times we never had any worries, which was a much appreciated.
