"Sarah showed excellent flexibility in face to face interactions and worked hard to keep me informed of each step along the way while I was out of the UK. She provided kind, compassionate and considerate support to my step father while I was out of the UK which was reassuring. We are forever grateful that she did everything she could to make things less difficult for us."
— Jess DAVEY-PEEL (about Sarah Kester)
"Even perfect personal touches such as wearing purple accents as a tribute for my Dad whose favourite colour was purple. Sarah is exceptional, she helped make the traumatic experience of arranging a funeral for your loved one so much easier to bear and her guidance helped us to provide our dearest Dad with a deserving final farewell."
— Chezzie Johns (about Sarah Kester)
"Bob answered the door to us, invited us in and very quickly helped us feel at ease. By the end of a meeting that he wasn't expecting to have with us he had very promptly and professionally arranged everything for us. I am so glad we used them to give our mum the beautiful send off she deserved."
— Nikki Adams (about Bob)
"They have a rare gift of turning a time of sorrow into a heartfelt celebration of life. In moments where emotions were high and decisions seemed daunting, Sarah & Neil remained a steady and reassuring presence. Our family is forever grateful for their exceptional service and kindness during such a difficult period."
— Andrew Webber (about Sarah Kester)
"Sarah went the extra mile to find a particular song that my husband wanted, she helped me to get the photo tribute exactly right, & found us a wonderful celebrant who had a lot in common with my husband. The funeral itself was beautifully done & very personal, allowing my husband's character & personality to shine through. I will always be so grateful for that."
— Catherine Old (about Sarah Kester)
"From the moment myself & family walked into the first meet after devastating loss of our mum we was greeted with compassion, care and empathy. Sarah Kester is a lovely lady, she took time to explain every step of the way... Even after the funeral, Sarah has kept contact and is helping with burial of ashes when it comes to my mums year anniversary. I can't thank AH Roger's & Sons enough. Especially Sarah."

We arranged my late husband's funeral plan when he was terminally ill, & Sarah Kester visited our home to talk us through our options. From the outset & throughout the process, Sarah has been friendly, empathetic & very practical, which was what we needed. We both felt confident that he was in good hands, & I was glad Sarah got to meet him before he passed. On the day he passed away at home a few weeks later, I called the number Sarah gave me, & the undertakers came at a time of my choosing. They handled him with great care & sensitivity, & when I visited him at the funeral home he was dressed in the clothes he wanted. Sarah sat & talked with me for a while after I saw him, which meant a lot to me. When it came to the finer details of the funeral arrangements, Sarah went the extra mile to find a particular song that my husband wanted, she helped me to get the photo tribute exactly right, & found us a wonderful celebrant who had a lot in common with my husband. The funeral itself was beautifully done & very personal, allowing my husband's character & personality to shine through. I will always be so grateful for that. It's clear to me that everyone at A H Rogers genuinely cares about providing a personal & compassionate service to all in their care, & without hesitation I highly recommend them.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for everything you did for our family during such a difficult time. Your kindness, compassion, and professionalism did not go unnoticed. From the very beginning, you treated us with such care and respect, which brought a great deal of comfort when we needed it most. Every detail was handled so thoughtfully, and it truly meant so much to us to know our dad was in such safe and capable hands. You helped make an incredibly emotional time feel more manageable, and we are so grateful for the dignity and warmth you showed throughout. It will always be remembered and deeply appreciated by us all.

My family and myself experienced absolute professionalism and greatest empathy from Sarah Kester in our darkest times of the very sudden passing of our beloved Mum. We cannot express how deeply great full we feel and how much i totally recommend Sarah in every aspect with future families loved lost ones x

The service my family received from A H Rogers and Sons, Shirley Branch, was excellent, without exception, all staff were wonderful. The main contact for our family was Sarah, she was compassionate and professional, and guided us through the very difficult task of arranging the funeral. On the day of the funeral, Helen led the funeral team, and took very good care of our family. She was so kind and caring, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to her and the team for all they did.

I haven’t experienced the service itself but I felt compelled to write this review (bear with me!). For about three years now, my now five year old daughter and I pass this shop on our walk home. There is the same lady in there, and my daughter loves waving to her as we pass. I think the customer service in there must be amazing for this lady has always, over three years, smiled and waved back at my daughter! This has sometimes bypassed a 2/3 yr old meltdown when not wanting to go home because I could persuade her by saying she could “wave to the nice lady in the window” as we walk home. So perhaps not your traditional review, but I wanted to say thanks for making mine and my little girl’s day brighter. I would feel in safe hands if I had need of such a service, and you as a company should be proud of your staff.
