A H Rogers and Sons Funeral Directors was founded in 1881.
Our dedicated teams at our Eastleigh, Hedge End, Shirley and West End funeral homes are committed to creating tailored funerals that reflect the unique life of your loved one.
We can be contacted 24 hours a day, by telephone, and are here to discuss your needs. Or if you prefer, we can visit your home to discuss funeral arrangements
"From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated with compassion, kindness and loving care. Always available to answer any questions, we were guided through the whole funeral process with ease and they took care of everything."
— Colin Bealey (about Helen)
"She made a horrible situation into something memorable for all the right reasons. She sadly did the funeral for my ex mother in law 18 months ago and again went above and beyond for us, which is why I knew she had to do Jason's funeral."
— Joanne Wood (about Helen)
"Helen Craddock took me under her wing and made sure my dad's cremation went smoothly. Helen took control of everything for me that day and I can't thank her enough for being so lovely, reassuring and professional. Everyone that attended told me what a wonderful job they thought Helen did that day."
— Charlie Drew (about Helen Craddock)
"Helen also went out of her way to visit our home to collect Andrew's funeral suit and deliver his ashes back to us. We have visited Helen a couple of times after the funeral and we are immediately recognised and always warmly welcomed. Even after the funeral Helen continues to offer support for the family."
— Thomas Webb (about Helen)
"Helen held my hand and led me through the process so compassionately and professionally. From the very first call the day after my mum died I knew Helen and the team would help us give her the service she deserved, without their support and guidance I really feel we would have been lost. Helen immediately sensed our family dynamic, she really got our humour, which made such a difficult time so much easier to deal with."
— Martyn White (about Helen)
"The care and understanding during the incredibly tragic and emotional shock of suddenly losing my daughter at a very early age, they showed incredible sensitivity and support, above and beyond simply providing a funeral service. More than that, during the extended period of dealing with the varied arrangements, they became family. Katie especially is a warm, caring, loving person who made this terrible time more bearable. She is a treasure."
— Nicholas Hughes (about Katie)

I cannot recommend AH Rogers highly enough. The care and understanding during the incredibly tragic and emotional shock of suddenly losing my daughter at a very early age, they showed incredible sensitivity and support, above and beyond simply providing a funeral service. More than that, during the extended period of dealing with the varied arrangements, they became family. I must individually thank and recognise Katie, Helen, and Neil. I will be eternally in their debt, and Katie especially is a warm, caring, loving person who made this terrible time more bearable. She is a treasure. Thank you all for becoming part of our family Nick Hughes

Helen Craddock from A H Rogers and sons took me under her wing and made sure my dad's cremation went smoothly. Helen took control of everything for me that day and I can't thank her enough for being so lovely, reassuring and professional that day. Everyone that attended told me what a wonderful job they thought Helen did that day. Would definitely recommend.

Although my family have used A H Rogers for years this was the first time I had had to be involved in the organisation of a funeral. Helen held my hand and led me through the process so compassionately and professionally. From the very first call the day after my mum died I knew Helen and the team would help us give her the service she deserved, without their support and guidance I really feel we would have been lost. During the first meeting Helen immediately sensed our family dynamic, she really got our humour for which we will always be grateful as it made such a difficult time so much easier to deal with. Helen connected us with a fantastic celebrant and made sure despite certain challenges that everything she could effect went fantastically well. Despite our never-ending calls nothing was ever too much trouble and they led us through the process amazingly. My Brother, Father and I will always be grateful, however we hope we don’t see them all too soon. THANK YOU to all involved.

From our first contact with AH Rodgers & Sons following the death of my mother, Helen and her team treated our family with the utmost respect, understanding and sympathy. I can honestly say that without the professional and sensitive help from Helen, we would have been a bit lost. Nothing was to much trouble and the service provided was exemplary. I have no hesitation in recommending the placing a loved one into the care of A.H.Rodgers & Sons. Thank you Helen and all, for making an emotionally stressful time for our family, more bearable and at times more cheerful, but always in a dignified and caring manner.

Helen Craddock, Funeral Director from AH Rogers and her team were fantastic. Helen immediately recognised the level she could talk to us on, picked a brilliant celebrate/officiate who fitted us and the service we wanted. She was brilliant in the way that she guided us through the initial meeting and through the funeral service. Cannot express my thanks any more highly for her help and support.
