I can’t thank Ian Pyne, the funeral director, and Richard Burfoot, the Minister, enough for the incredible care and support they gave during my mum’s funeral. From the moment we walked into Tappers, Ian made everything seamless, taking all the weight off my shoulders while I was trying to sort Mum’s estate. Richard, as the Minister, helped create such a beautiful day—it was a true celebration of Mum’s life, more than a mourning. The whole family has been able to look back with comfort, and it has helped us all process Mum’s passing. The communication from both Ian and Richard was outstanding—they kept us informed, reassured, and guided us every step of the way. I am so grateful for everything—they gave us a day we will never forget. I’d like to give, from my heart, the biggest thank you to both Ian and Richard.

My dad passed away in December 2025. The care & attention Tappers showed was nothing short of amazing. They did everything & left nothing for us to worry about. Ian was particularly attentive. He guided us through the process from beginning to end & more. Every person we dealt with was the same. I can’t thank them enough & I would recommend that you let Tappers guide you through your most emotional journey. They are the best!

I would like to sincerely thank Alan Rice & Tapper for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to my family and me whilst arranging my late Husband's funeral. From the moment we first spoke with them, they treated Graham and our family with such kindness, patience and respect. Every detail was handled with such thought and sensitivity and the service definitely reflected Graham's love of life, music and family, and brought real comfort to us all.

Dear Kathleen, Ian & Alan I would just like to pass on my deep gratitude to you and your team for the calm and dignified manner in which my mother's funeral was handled earlier this week. Everyone present was very touched by the event. If you could also pass on my thanks to our celebrant, Emma, that would also be much appreciated. She struck absolutely the right note of solemnity and happy reflection on mum's life.
